In 2017 I created a series of spot illustrations and patterns to accompany learning components for the redesign of the Royal Ontario Museum’s Learning With Inuit EduKit. This EduKit is available to schools that request it across Ontario, and the ROM was kind enough to give me the hard copy so I can share some of my work on my website!
They were also kind enough to share with me that “The kit has been so successful: fully booked since it was created, which has the education dept pretty happy. Hope you are too!” Vicki and the ROM team are a dream client and were a dream to work with!

Margaret and Bear's Wild Adventures is a children's book, independently published by Blank Page Press in Toronto and written by Christopher Matheson.
The book tells the story of Bear, who wakes up one day determined to properly explore the world outside of his den. He meets Margaret, an adventurous and confident companion, and together they make new friends and see wondrous sights.
It is the first book Jennifer has worked on, having begun the project while still studying at OCAD U.
Margaret and Bear's Wild Adventures was chosen as a Project We Love on Kickstarter, surpassing its funding goal by 30%.

From 2016-2017, I created portraits of Canadians featured in Gastropost, a food photography & recipe community and competition. The portraits were quick turnarounds based off of user-submitted photos.
Gastropost was a section in the Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver editions of The National Post newspaper.
These are a select few.

In 2015, I began sketching people on my subway commute from Kennedy (home) to St Patrick station (school). In 2016, I began sharing my work online, and in April of that year, I was lucky enough to be contacted by Kevin Frankish (Breakfast Television Toronto) who wanted to do a short piece on my work. Since that TV interview, I've been interviewed and had my work published in newspapers (Toronto Star, Metro News), and I continue to sketch the people of Toronto (though my commute is now, thankfully, a bit shorter).
These are a selection of my sketches, many more can be found on Instagram or in my sketchbooks.
